I read on someone's post to leave coolant cap off while running engine, to get bubbles out of the system.. the FAQ was a bit confusing it didnt' say anything of that and also said to use full power coolant rather than 50% - possibly because flushing with water leaves 50% water trapped in system somewhere?
The ford helms manual doesn't say anything about getting rid of bubbles..
Any tips? and how-to? I remember on my old car i did so with radiator cap off where coolant does flow through continuously but i don't know if it'll work for the svt if it's leaving resovoir cap off?
maybe i just missed the rad. cap...
newbie, just hoping to get some guidance. couldnt' find in search. my idle's a bit rough now after changing thermostat..so i figure there's some air in system.
