Curioius to hear your POV on how Clinton created the recession, and how Bush is fixing it.

With all due respect, do you form all your opinions on subjects without "looking into them?" You might be surprised what you find if you do look into this issue.

wasn't Clinton the one who made NAFTA? i'm not sure but isn't that the policy that sends more jobs over seas? AGAIN I"M NOT 100% CLEAR HERE so anyone who knows more about it speak up

and M.Moore doesn't show the mass graves or the 9 year olds in Iraqi prisons. anyone else watch letterman last night?

No, Clinton didn't make NAFTA. He signed the final act that actually put it into effect. George H.W. Bush is who can be called to have MADE NAFTA. He was the person that rounded up with other foreign leaders to write it up. Without Bush Clinton wouldn't have had anything to sign.

EDIT: And speaking of the topic on the thread. No, Bush wouldn't stand a chance. Whether anything is his fault, politics dictate that stangant economy will cost presidency unless there is something else, like a war, to offset it. Bush approval had dropped from the time of his election to when the towers got hit.

Let me guess that you probably believe that this 'surplus' was from Clinton cutting back the budget? LOL. The only way our federal government will see a surplus is because they took too much money in. Now, since our government doesn't actually make a profit, this means one thing; THEY TAXED US TOO DAMN MUCH TO BEGIN WITH! You want to see another surplus, we could always bring your taxes back up to Clinton era... Clinton did alot of dammage while he was in office, Bush inherited alot of bad from him; But no, Republicans don't blame all our problems on him, just the ones he actually created. -Nick

Listen to soldiers from the field....they have an interesting viewpoint.

The prisoner abuse is more than just a few soldiers...it was a policy and facts have been released to indicate as such...

Republicans try to generally divide the masses to achieve results.....the Grand ole Party scheme......

In my work I have to strive for balance and try to help create small coalitions to achive results.

This man is simply not qualified to be in that position. If he was a good republican that would be a different story...now one may say what is a good republican...I say it is one that listens very carefully to a good democrat and a good democrat is one that listens very carefully to a good republican. There are two few of both. Striking a fair balance is what I look for....this President does not know how to do that....

I do get a chuckle that there are more people demonstrating against him in New York than currently the number attending the convention.

I dislike extreme lefts and rights......

If I applied for a position as a VP of a major company and spoke as "well" as the current President....I'd certainly doubt that I would be hired..

As the current "war" in Iraq indicates there is more than one way to "bleed".

BUSH=9/11. Before 9/11 all President Bush was doing was playing golf. I remember telling a coworker about how it seems that he was always on vacation. Without 9/11, he would be a whisper in history.

Renee, your voting for a Draft Dodger? No, matter what can be said about Kerry. You must remember this. He went and fought. No skipping to the National Guard or getting deferments.

Yet, the right blindly follows this guy. It MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.

Antonio, I don't vote for draft dodgers. I in no way voted for Clinton. HAhahahahaha. Bush never dodged, he served, maybe not active duty and over in Vietnam, but you know what....... active duty, reserves, national guard, they are ALL military, no matter how they serve. I mean seriously, are you going to say my husband, who is active duty Air Force, is not doing a damn thing to help this war on terror just because he hasn't served in Iraq? That would be complete and utter bull. ALL military, no matter their branch or where they serve, are serving their country. The difference between Kerry and the rest of the people who have served is they don't shove it down everyone's throats like Kerry does. MANY MANY people have served this country in Vietnam, before Vietnam, and after, Kerry is nobody special. Many others have Purple Hearts, but they don't shove them in everyone's face saying "Nah nah look what I have."
Oh, and for those who don't think Kerry has lied.... what about the tossing of the medals thing? What about all the flip flops? What about his NOT supporting the military? What about his dissing of big corporations, yet he LIVES off the Heinz ketchup fortune. Kerry is an all out liar and hyporcrite worse than ANY politician I have ever seen.
I am not trying to sway anyone's votes. You'll vote how you want, this is how I will vote though. GW gets my vote.

And the left doesn't blindly follow Kerry?

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
