I don't think he got away with anything. I don't and never really did believe he did it. This kinda reaffirms that to me. Now she's file a civil suit so she can get paid; which was her intention the whole time anyway.



The only reason people think he's innocent is because he's a good ball player. Don't fool yourself. Had he been a second rate NBA player, he'd be sitting in jail by now.

She obviously filed the civil suit when it became clear this would never come to trial and that her name would be dragged through the mud.



My opinion is not in any way based on his ball playing abilities. I've seen tons of programs on him and his past and things of that nature and he's always seemed like a respectful well mannered individual. Granted, he's gotten a bit big headed in the last few years but I just don't see him being a rapist.



And since you tossed the "what if" out there let's say it was a white ball player...let's say it was...Luke Walton. I would venture to say that if it was Walton in Kobe's shoes there would be a lot less people thinking he was guilty. Not trying to sound like Antonio with the racist conspiracy theory stuff but I think you know this would be true.

The evidence and things that came out since this went down indicate to me (and a whole lot of others) that this girls was just a wild type. The whole thing about her bragging abo Kobe's penis size to her friends after it happened and a lot of other things of that nature just make it seem highly unlikely to me that it was a rape case.

Of course, that's just my opinion but obviously there was some serious lack in evidence if it didn't even make it to trial which typical with DNA and modern methods shouldn't have been a problem if he actually did rape her.



It was all a conspiracy. The truth will come out eventually and Kobe will pay.
