why not use a side mount a/a from a z32 nissan or a jdm sr20 240. they are pretty efficient for low boost(just like most turbo tours, hey!!). plus they could be mounted in the lower front fender right below the battery. if you were really concerned about airflow you could even hook up a small electric fan to it like the ones that you would use on a trunk mount differential cooler

You OBVIOUSLY don't realise the difficulty routing any piping to said intercooler.
Take a good look at a Turno Charged Contour V6 sometime and tell me where on earth you'er going to run two extra pipe to the front bumper.
