You haven't figured out complete sentences or the use of the period (.) key, but you somehow know something that the designers of the streetflight system don't? That, and you are going to college? Wow, entrance standards must have dropped since I was looking at schools.

Who says he doesn't know something that the Streetflight doesn't? At one time Newton, Einstein, Columbus, Niche, etc... knew things that other "learned" people didn't. Fresh thoughts breed advancement. I am not denouncing the streetflight kit as being the best currently availiable; I believe that the kid's point was not that the system was flawed, but that another kit of equal quality can be made for less if those with the know-how apply their knowledge to such a task. To argue that no-one can develope a better turbo kit than Streetflight would be comparable to saying that the carburator is far superior to fuel injection, because it came first.

Do you even KNOW what's included in the kit and the man hours required to make it? I didn't think so!

You guys are pulling crap out of your asses.

The profit margin on these is so small that Keith had to sell a LOT of them just to brake even. These are HAND-MADE kits, not something churned out by the hundreds on a CNC jig!

When the demand for an item is low, you cannot lower the price just so that 17 y.o.'s can afford them. Learn something about business practices before spouting out BS.

Why do you think Vortech pulled out of making their S/C's, and why do you think no one else has come up with a Turbo kit for these cars? Because the demand is low and no one can beat ADC's (nee Street Flight) price without sacrificing quality, performance and reliability.

There's a stupid & baseless analogy wyrp...

Also you missed the point that the original statement was about fitting a FMIC on the contour.

While it could "technically" be done the results would be sub par.

Size is very limited.
You'd have to lose the A/C system.
Piping length would be horrid.
Front clip integrity would suffer because of all the cutting required.
You would seriously degrade airflow to the radiator!!! That would be bad for any engine much less one that will be boosted. (i.e. 3 times the heat to remove)

Those are some main points off the top of my head.

I think a kit much cheaper than the street flight kit could be made easily. However, it would be significantly degraded in terms of quality, durability, and even performance.
