Not entirely true. This is not true with Centrifugal type superchargers. i.e. Vortech They have to spin to a certain RPM before any PSI is produced. A positive displacement supercharger, i.e. Kenne Bell or Eaton have instant boost. Positive displacement superchargers will not produce boost when your trying to keep a steady speed,regardless of the RPM.
