Even on warmed up road race slicks the car will spin the tires to the top end of 2nd gear coming out of the corners if the throttle is mashed. What Z06 owners have you been talking to? They are usually upwards of 360-375RWHP. That's even a little on the low side. Look at a stock Z06 dyno graph next to Rick's dyno graph and you'll see a huge difference. Then you'll see what gives a Z06 nearly 2 seconds in the 1/4 mile.
