Unless he is a police officer, i'd fight it. Be like 'he has a personal grudge against me and just trying to get me in trouble.' or something similar =)
Intersting note, There was a guy who did that with a radar gun in my neighborhood and somebody called the cops on him even though he was on his front lawn. They made him stop.
