So I get a call a few days ago from the Westport Police department stating some dude came into the station with 13 license plate numbers of which all failed to stop at a stop sign. The office said I was one of them between 8-8:30am. I go that way every day to work so I knew I was there but I always stop since a few weeks ago I saw a couple copy haning out there. Alot of peeps blow the stop sign. Anyway, the copy said he is giving me a ticket (114 bucks) for blowing the stop sign. I said WTF!
How can that happen. I stopped (maybe a rolling stop) who is this guy to determine what a stop is.
Anyway, I just got the ticket in the mail and I am gonna fight it but what the heck is that all about.
Can someone write down plates and do that? Who is gonna show up in court? The cop or the dude? I think it has to be the dude.
