Did any of you bother to look at the ingredient list on a bottle of anti freeze?
It's ethelene glycol.
Propelene glycol is the stuff that some alternative anti freeze companies (such as Sierra) have been pushing claiming that it is more environmentally friendly. Claiming that it breaks down more quickly when released into the environment and is not as toxic. It also does not have quite as good of a heat transfer ability (but close) and does not protect for freezing or overheating quite as well.
Anyway, it seems as though someone is pulling your chain.
Also, it helps to pack your intake manifold with ice, not the exhaust.
