A friend at Ford, a service manager, said he would diagnose the car for a flat $120 fee. Contours already have bad wiring, and after having over 140,000 miles on the car more stuff is bound to go wrong, SO why bother fixing it. ANYWAYS all my stuff is for sale check the CLASSIFIEDS!!!!!! Please don't delete this I am just telling the board my crappy situation.
This is exactly how I felt about my Mystique....except I did replace all the wiring...LOL I was always wondering what would break next....but I had 170,000 miles.
Good luck with your new ride.

here is something to consider....your car is PAID FOR! I know mine is.....so i will have it until the doors rust shut. You have two options with cars 1. Payments on something nice. 2. Repairs on something paid for.
I'm keeping mine....but the time approaches where it will need some $$$$$ spent on it........
can't believe you are selling it:-(
