cant beat a used toyota (lexus). too bad the turbo toy isnt for sale. those are pretty badass. im suprised it was so cheap. the mazda was a steal, while it was available at that price. i used to take my hondas to a honda's only specialist. he said the passports gave them nothing but problems. but thats only one source, some people here apparantly had good experiences.
too bad i dont didnt see this last week. i, sadly, watched a clean csvt go on ebay for $1700!! it had no reserve, OOPS! with only 50k on it. somewhere in Ohio. i forgot to check in on it, otherwise i probably would have bought it. ive had many rims that cost more than that! i know quite a few people who have bought cars on ebay and none have ever had any problems.

im not even sure im gonna get the lexus now. my mom in her goofyness seems to think that my contour can be fixed for less than $2,000. if it could, i would... but i need her 1G to help me get the lexus, so its her call at te moment.,..until my bank calls back.

man, im seein' used svt's go for cheap all the time. ebay ebay ebay. unfortunately, due to your budget, you can't have one shipped to you (about $5-700 depending how far) but you can hopefully find one used within driving distance. you can always fly there and drive the car home. im watching a toyta echo w/ 30k on ebay right now for my pop (wants a good commuter car) about to end at about $5k. there listed in the local recycler with the same stats for about $10k!

the plan as of right now is this: i will get another car, keep the contour in storage and fix it as i have time. the dash DID break when the airbags deployed...great...$1100 for a new one. still looks good for the lexus...only time will tell.
