Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Common Interests Thoughts on Windows XP SP2

I have autoupdate on, and I was hoping that it didn't download SP2. My roommate this morning downloaded it and now his IE won't work, and some programs aren't working. Is there a way to switch back to SP1 or tell if I already have downloaded SP2? Sorry for my computer illiteracy.
