That's an interesting statement Terry, are we looking at the same document? Page 1 clearly states "The objective of this paper is to document the study of converting a Ford 2.5L Duratech V6 to a 2.0L for Touring Car Championship competition" The people involved with the study are Pat Morgan,Ray Kach,Curt Hill,Dan Demitroff and Bruce Monroe all of the FORD Motor Co. Then there is Tom Dettloff,Wiley McCoy and Dean Battermann of McLaren Engines Inc. Am I missing something here? Nowhere is Porsche mentioned! Also on page 1 there is a DEFINITION OF THE DURATEC ENGINE, it then goes on to give a description of the engine. The description sure sounds like the Duratec's I've seen. What am I missing here?
