Terry, I understand that they were studying the engine in a feasabilaty test for racing.[which it failed] The testing found that the engine DID NOT respond well to modifications in fact they said there was very little difference by modifying it. Sounds as if the engineers that designed the engine designed it in a way so as no amount of modifying it would make any difference in power output. That to me explains partialy why the few mods. that are avalable for the duratech doesnt produce much in the way of more power. The engine is just not as responsive to the std. mods. that other engines are.
