The ambient temperature may never reach 250-300, but what about the actual material temp? I know that here in CO, on a hot, cloudless day, I can't even thenk about touching the exterior of the car, and can barely handle the leather steering wheel. Not sure exactly what temps the steel gets up to, but I know it's definetely ALOT hotter than 150 or so.
