I just had a 2800$ Trany + Clutch replacememnt, and two new alternators. The car was running good for 2 weeks. Now everytime I am driving, when I take off (5spd) if I give it too much gas (which is halfway down on pedal) the car starts bucking (hard mind-you) and will do it through 3rd, unless I barely give it gas. I've been told by a guy at autozone that it is do to my "Vacuum hose." Any ideas on if this is correct? If you need more details, please ask. As far as I know that's all the car does. If it IS the vacuum hose, then i'm curious as to if this easy to replace, or let my mechanic do it? Thanx in advance for the !

most likely a fuel pump problem, probably going out on you, like force said get your fuel pressure checked that will tell you alot, LBVSVT you should check yours too, as for the rpm jump, my old honda did that, but it was because of a alternator problem
