This is the FIPK for Cougars that can be used on our cars.

K&N Websight It was made for the V6 Cougar and seems to be compatible with non-SVT V6 Contiques. I guess it's due to the IAT placement or the extra hose or whatever. You can read the instructions and figure it out for yourself if really curious.
I realize that with the heatshield could be less than ideal if hot air can still get around it. But generally I think it would look pretty nice as it's an entire assembly that can be dropped in (gotta use the stock MAF though).
