The company that PGTATX is going through has plans (IIRC) to sell ported heads to other Duratec owners...there would be a core charge, and then upon receit of their heads, you just ship your stock heads back to them to get your "deposit" back... Leo Capaldi got most of his power for his SVWC Cougar from having his heads ported and polished....300+HP naturally aspirated with potential for more, according to his engine builder...

last time i checked, the duratec was a 6cyl engine. 6 cyl at $200/cyl = $1200 + valve job... i guess that puts us back in the $1400 range KJ quoted...
or am i missing something?
