Yes - but it's not guranteed to trip a CEL.

The diff from a 17# to 19# is just plus 11.7%, the fuel trim will not trip a CEL until +/-20ish% trim, so likely it will just pull in the mixture in and run with negative trims. It'll run funky till it pulls in the mixtures, but it does it within a couple drive cycles.

I think where people get into trouble is that the later contours run with like 50psi fuel pressure, so if they swap in a mustang 19#er that is specd in the 38ish or low 40ish psi range they will get an equivalent to a 21# or 24# (forget the exact #) injector...

I ran my car for about a year with 19# mustang injectors on my "regualr" fuel pressure system before getting a chip.
