One of the reasons I bought it was because, like I said, I can manipulate the powerband. Not only that but if I want to add NOS or a supercharger I can retard the timing without having to buy a custom chip. In terms of HP I'm not sure. I've never had my car dynoed. By I will say that I felt an increase in power upstairs and less hesitation in the high RPM band.

on a basic bolt on N/A ignition the stock would be best. usually no hp but an increase in throttle response plus you can ( I believe) raise the rev limiter set another one for the perfect launch and retard the timing for larger shot.
