Ok like I said I am the newbie to this fine establishment. First off I just purchased my little rocket 99 SVT last week as an early college graduation present. I will have about 6 thousand dollars extra comming in within the next couple of months. Where should I start I need a battle plan. I am thinking starting with exhaust Y pipe and Bassani. Than the suspension H&R springs and Koni's. Than the Quaife deal that everyone is so enthused about. Than the power adder there I am at a dilema Im thinking Vortech. This is just my battle plan and would like to hear other people's inputs on the situation. What would you all do if you had a 99 SVT and 6 thousand dollars to play with? Sorry about the spelling and Grammer I can fly not type.

welcome aboard. try using the search function in the upper right of your screen. try searching under "general", "performance" and "suspension" for your respective questions using "exhaust", "y-pipe", first mod", "lower", "springs" etc.
keep in mind the bassani is LOUD. the most popular lowering combo seems to be eibach+koni, but a lot of guys have the h&rs.
good luck! (wish i had 6k to spend on mods!)

I like look of Bassani with the rez out, the bassani roars. it is REALLY loud and IMO the drone inside the car is intolerable. with the rez in, it rumbles. IMHO the borla sounds awesome. rumbly and subtle. a little louder than stock. the performance gains are similar. try a search for "bassani" and "borla". it's been talked about thoroughly. i went with the bassani because i love the tips and hate those on the borla. i run with the rez in and even dynomatted the trunk to reduce the droning. some love the bassani with the rez out, but it's just too loud for me.

Really depends on your age more than anything. This is a theory I am working on. Me being all of 22, I wanted more sound than the stock system was able to give me. Looks were what really sold me on the Bassani, and once the res tips were out, I have no regrets. You get used to the sound after time and don't really even notice it. Heres a couple of pics to help persuade youin the ways of the Bassani :), sounds like you ahve already made up your mind, but it never hurts to "seal the deal". Here is my Dyno plots, stock then with the addition of a KKM w/ Mik's Heatshiled and my Bassani (- the res tips) If you have any more questions or what have you, feel free to drop by my pics page or drop me an e-mail (Both are in the sig)
