I've noticed a few problems with my car lately. While driving at a constand speed, my car will jolt, and then return to normal. Under acceleration (hard or normal), it starts fine, bogs down a little, and then picks up again. Seems to happen more at lower rpms, before the secondaries open. (almost like brief loses of power) I also have a low idle problem, which i think the iac is the problem, because sometimes I'll stop at a light and the car will die. It starts right up like normal, but then idles again at 500 or less. I listened for vacume leaks and can't hear any. The iac is supposed to click constantly when running right? Because I hear a wierd sound coming from that area of the engine, a sucking or clicking sound (something like that).
I recently gutted my cats, but have no cels at all. I'm planning an intake rebuild this week, replacing the iac, pcv valve, all gaskets, and the plugs. If anyone has had similar problems and the manifold rebuild won't fix, please let me know.
