Only trouble with that I can see. A friend of mine explained this one to me. Take 2 I4's and put a turbo on one and in this case a blower on the other. Which produces more "usable" power? The one with the turbo. With a turbo you don't have to use the power of the engine to turn over the head unit. Instead all you need is to build up exhaust pressure. This way the only time you'd lose power is when you upshift. I wne to Jackson Racing and read their write up on why a turbo is inefficient.
It's true there is turbo lag down low but once it gets pressure it begins t build power all the way until it reaches it's boost efficiency. Just my opinion on the subject.
