ok.. first off.. I've had work done at the same place that Robert had his alarm and turbo timer installed and they do great work and go above and beyond the call of duty.. I've never had problems with my turbo car because of wiring..

Second... the car is his daily driver.. what do you expect? Alan knew he was selling the car to someone who was going to drive it daily.. If he's upset about the car supposedly going to ****, then he shouldn't have sold it..

Thirdly... I don't know any of you and he did say in one of his first posts that the S-AFC wasn't reading correctly and had asked what that could be and noone replied to that issue..

Fourth... I just checked out his car domain page and it now shows the track times and gives credit where credit is due..

Finally... I am a female that drives a 300hp Eclipse that is perfectly tuned and I know that when my S-AFC got stolen the car didn't run at all because I have 720cc injectors that the stock ECU can't handle..

Anyone who drives a modified car is going to run into problems and the forums are the best place to find answers so don't knock on Robert for needing help.. I'm sure he took everyones advice into consideration when working on fixing the problem, but if a piece of advice isn't working then help him figure out the next step.. don't keep repeating yourself.

Big deal...you drive a 300hp Eclipse...Yada Yada. You obviously are uneducated about a Contour with a turbo. I could put 6000cc injectors(we use the lbs. term) and not run an S-AFC and the car would still run perect given the "tuned" chip was functioning properly. You see, that's the difference, this car is tuned by the chips custom programming...not the S-AFC!

I have no problem with the way someone treats there car be it sh!t or like a baby....but when someone call's the previous owner and want's to know what to troubleshoot, without putting forth obvious effort, or backtracking recent modifications to the car, that's when I have a problem! No point intended Robert, I know you checked things out to the best of your ability, just making a hypothetical statement.

The second part of the my personal irritation is that I specifically instructed Robert to start a post on the CEG and try and get some feedback form the other platform specialists....It took me practically 5 times repeatedly for him to finally take my advice.

I would have daily driven the car had I been required to...without a turbo timer to boot...Those BB turbos don't cake the bearings with heated/dried oil like the old scholl models do.

My best advice for someone on doing electrical work is to make sure your connections are waterproof!

I'm glad you got the car running again Robert, but remember what I told you....read that S-AFC instruction manual as well as the others......
