I'm glad that you got the car running right. I understand that you were getting irritated by all of us, but you asked and we answered...and you refused to listen to our advice.
I'm not trying to argue with you...but I need to know a little bit more information.
You say the S-AFC wasn't reading anything..
When you fixed it...were the wires still attached to the coil pack and tachometer wire?
Since you fixed it...did you re-attach the coil pack and tachometer wires?
What exactly did you do to the S-AFC to fix it in the first place? Was there a wire that was not connected or something?
Did you take it back to the alarm place and have them fix the wires, etc? Did they put taps elsewhere and make them waterproof to prevent short circuits?
Or, did you just disconnect the battery lead to attempt to reset the computer or something.
I just want to know what there was that Alan and I missed when we were attempting to diagnose the problem.
