I posted in the brakes forum, but I don't think that gets much traffic. Any ideas how to remove "burned on" brake dust from wheels? A friend of mine drove her Sebring JXi with a brake problem which created some serious heat. The result is some pretty bad brake dust cooked onto the wheel. Meguiars wheel cleaner and a plastic brush only made minor headway on it. I need something STRONG that won't damage the wheel finish.
