No kidding. did you not read my post directly above yours, posted nearly an hour before yours? 
And to think.. this whole thread got way out of hand when I simply stated that I considered my wife's Saturn to be a "factory freak" because it could almost keep up with my SVTC in the 1/4.  It wasn't typed in an effort to praise the L series, merely to show that some examples of a particular car are faster than others. The only stat I've ever seen for a '00 LS2 1/4 mi. was 16.1. And I can't even find that now..
