I'm hoping you're not learning something new, I'm just pointing out that you are comparing a 3L to a 2.5L. If the displacement were even, the SVTC would come out WAY ahead. It just sounded to me as if you were saying the Saturn was almost just as much of a performer as the SVT, despite the obvious displacement..displacement. And to clear it up, I was not implying nor stating that you had talked down to the HO Duratec.
ChrisilverSVT, I was merely pointing out that a stock SVTC is, VERY nearly, capable of hanging with a Fox 5.0. There are roads longer than a 1/4 mile and not all races are from a dig... The fact that the high to mid 14 sec car is RWD and the low to mid 15 sec car is a heavy, FWD car kind of evens things out on the road....
