15 flat from a non-SVT would be either awesome weather at a great track on a very well modified car or near unheard of traction with all the above.

A stock SVT is roughly 15.2-15.4 @ 90-91 Very driver dependant!!!

It could easily be 16 with a typical driver and/or poor weather/track.

Yes wheel hop kills the stock diff. However that also is mainly the driver's fault if it breaks IMO.
Mine lasted through 100's maybe a 1000 of my insane launches. Now it was on it's last legs when I took it out but it was still working.

Heck there was a guy who ran a 14.7x with a few bolt ons based on his 5000rpm launches. (stock diff!) The first 330' make or break an excellent run on this platform. It's not only the 60' but the 1-2 shift as well.

After hearing many horror stories I would have thought my diff would have broken many years ago. Like I stated it must be more driver related with maybe some bad luck thrown in. I had had mine wheel hop so bad it threw it out of gear at least 3 times. (that's very bad on the driver's part )

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
