I hope that what was done to the SVT in the pic isn't done to yours....

So after reading all the posts, I still have no solid recommendatios! Some people are concerned over the engineering, and I think its a valid point. Some people seem to have very high dyno figures and are probably happy.
NO ONE has said whether its worth it!
Any takers?

Is it worth it? if you just want that extra power and have no plans on doing massive power upgrades (such as more boost) then yes it is worth it. If you are someone like me who thinks to much power isn't enough then I would take a different route unless you are willing to do the foot work and spend the money to upgrade this system.

k-fabe: What?

I don't think I need to point out that he cut through a "frame rail" and crush zone, can we say loss of structural integrity folks?

I am sorry, but some people really come up with some stupid ways to make more power.

Wow, that is one F'ed up frome rail. I wanted to do something similar to the intake set up, but couldn't figure out a way to do it right without hacking away at anything important. The SC just sits a little bit to low... BTW, replacing the "hat" of the SC is a good way to make some power on the ponys, that's where I got the idea in the first place... Glad I didn't have a line of coke and a torch to copy this set up.

Now let me think here... could it be YOU Terry? Heheheh wink

I never got the chance to try to make a connector out of silicone to get out of the SC with a little bit better path. Perhaps a silicone 90 degree bend could be swapped in. On the pony GT 4.6, replacing the hat and pipe with mandrel pieces was worth 20+ HP on superchared cars. Just wondering what it's worth on a SC tour...
