i have a 99cougarV6 5speed and a buddy of mine borrowed his aunt's VR6 ,i think it was a 99 automatic, for prom night. well every single time we raced i would kill him till bout half way thru 70-80mph and then he would run me down ...run away from me....and then keep on running. he had no chance in 1/8mile but anything from there on was no use....those things are geared for one hell of a topend! but ofcourse i have 170hp whereas an svt has 200 so i think i would have had him all across the board with svt swap.
