I wouldn't go 12% but 35% is way too light to me, i've had 20% on my SE for 2 almost two years now, it doesn't look that dark in the day time I was pulled over once for tint 3 years ago, and it was only because he couldn't get me for anything else!! He actually walked around my car looking for things to cite me for... lol i think i got a blue corner marker and side marker fine too..
