Ok rockford fosgate made the HE2's in two different types. 4 ohm and 2 ohm. Depending on which model you bought the following is the correct answer.

Keep in mind you can wire these down to a .5 ohm but I would not reccommend it being that most amps will over heat and shut down. I recommended the 2 ohm option, but you it can still shutdown if your amp is not 2 ohm stable, so you will have to try and see. If you tell me what kind of amp you have it'll be easier to recommend.

(Honestly it is confusing to explain typing out, but rockford has made it fool proof for you)

If you do not have an amp, I suggest buying something that is 2 ohm stable, if not stable below an ohm. If you can find something stable below an ohm, they will thump the loudest. But at least 2 ohms I recommend.

Nice, thanks jason... I have a Older rockford 800a2 you know the ones made back when rockford was underrating everything to win shows but i might power it off of one of the new cheap 600watt i think the model number is 202u or something like that, i'll check when i go home!

are you crazy? use the 800a2, that 200 series amp will kill those he2's. Underpowering is worse than overpowering. They will sound horrible and sloppy!! You have some expensive subs there, treat them right!

Lol, okay... i was going to sell the 800a2 to a friend and buy a 4 channel amp along with some decent door speakers I love my HE2's i've had them for about 3 years now and they are still under best buys 4 yr warranty/replacement plan!!

were you on jeff davis. my friends focus has been pulled not once, but twice for the tint. rated at 28%. in va it cant be below 50% in the front on top of the tint from factory. im getting 20% platinum on back windows and leaving front. most of em wont care about the back.

Anything but black tint is for ricers.

when i get the platinum ill make sure to show you some pics...its looks perfect on silver cars...its not chrome so dont think that

35% all around on cars is the law in MD, but you have to take into account that you already have some tint on your windows. All cars with AC do. So compounded you could end up with 20-30 depending on the car.

VA is 50 on the front and 35 on the back. Again compounded by factory tint.

Most of the time if you get tint installed around the legal limit, most cops don't bother because it's negligable based on their meter. It also has a lot to do with how you act towards the cop. If you are very compliant and curtious, you likely get of with little or nothing. Cop and attitude and they'll likely screw you.

Interior color has a lot to do with it too. Light interiors take a darker tint to look dark and can more easily be caught being too dark. Dark interiors look darker and aren't as obviously too dark to cops.

i argued with a female cop for about 10 mins on the fact that the amount of light outside and the interior of the car affecting the read-out. you cant even see through my friends focus too well during the day and we pass cops all the tine. most dont care. if it looks good keep it on. youll get ticketed but that something you have to deal with with nice cars. hell ive been pulled in a stock mustang for going 4 over, just because he needed one more ticket for the night.
