I live in Chester(near richmond), VA and minutes ago I was stopped and given a ticket for having 35% tint on my front windows... This is ridiculous. I know that by law, I am not aloud to have it.. But if you've seen 35% tint, it is hardly dark at all.
I told the cop that there are cars around here with tint way more extreme than mine... He told me he would get them as well and I said I'm sure you will. Cops are ridiculous. Do they not have anything better to do? I'm only 18 and my funds are going to be shot now because this idiot decided he wanted to pick on someone.
Needless to say, I called his Liuetenant and filed a complain because he was very rude and didn't seem to care about anything that I had to say.
I will never understand laws like this. I know a lot of us here have chose 35% tint b/c most cops dont even bother with it.. Have you been stopped as well?
