I mean if your a car guy in high school you take what you can get. I mean im sure some things are silly or outrageous. But if you enjoy cars and you only have a part time job in high school, and you wanna modify your cars then you are gonna start with the sound and the aesthetic mods because it is much more affordable then say adding a turbo or a supercharger. If you take pride in your car you are gonna do what you can to make it look its best.
These kids must have really good part-time jobs. I mean, all of these crappy imports around here have at a $1,500 stereos, $1,000 ground effects + paint (which is pricey), $1,000 18" wheels & tires and $400 aluminum jet wings. Total= $3900. With $3900 I could have a really fast SVT. Everyone else is giving there opinion, I should too. Oh yeah, they all have Altezza's also.
Also, in response to the original post, I think that once someone makes Altezza's for contour's, that will be the next trend followed by "R" stickers.
