Considering my budget of about 75.00, I was considering a Radeon 9200SE and a Nvidia FX5200. Any of you have any experience with either of these two and what are your thoughts? I'm also open to other suggestions. It has to be an AGP card and I want a DVI output because I just got a new flat panel monitor. Thanks for any help.

Don't get any Radeon Card that ends in SE. Waste of money. Stands for "Slow Edition" or something. Father bought that card and got rid of it quickly. If you are a gamer, save the money and get a good card, if not, the The FX5200 will suit you fine. Just my opinion.

I ended up getting a FX5200 plus. I'm going to run 3DMARK with my current card and then the with the new one. My current card is a Gforce4 MX420 so I'm expecting much better results. I'll post back with comparison #'s

Dude find a standard GeForce 4 they are much better the 5200 just doesn't have the power to run the features it's capable of.

I have a Gforce 4 right now. It's an old MX420 and it's not up to par on newer games. I just got finished installing the new card and bench testing it. I'm using 3DMARK2001: My score with the Gforce 4 was 3419 and now it's 4739 with the FX5200. FPS was significantly higher on all tests with the FX5200. I haven't even tried playing a game with it yet but I'm very happy with the bench test. I bought the 1 year replacement warranty so now it's on to overclocking it a bit Oh BTW I got a 40.00 rebate so the card only ended being 50.00

Well if something happends and they figure out you OC it then the warranty is void. But for $50 you really wont be out much. I had that card and it was pretty decent and for that price you cant beat it.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

3DMark is a waste of time. it takes your card to the max and tells you how good it COULD do if you wanted it to. But really the real test comes down to if it can run the game that you want it to play decently. Graphics are overrated. why pay 400$ for a video card that will play the same game as a 150-200$ card... Just for slightly higher settings.

UPDATE: As posted above, I was very happy with the bench tests however actual game tests were very dissapointing. This card officially sucks arse lol. Well that card has allready been replaced and I decided to step it up a bit. I bought a Radeon 9800 PRO. I just benched it and the results were off the chart compared to the fx5200. I'm about to test it on some games but I'm sure it will do just fine. A word of advice "one that I should have taken" don't waste your money on the fx5200!!
