Terry, you will be getting my business shortly, just need to get my funding straightened out. The best part of it all, we're all saving $300!

hum.. it's seems like Terry is the person to have the LSD put in, if your in the east coast.. i'm wonder if there are any 'good' mechanics that can do the LSD it in CA, more specifically in nor cal.. short of flying Terry over to CA with his tools.

thats what im talking about...im out here in CA...need to find someone in CA that can do the job... Unless i have Terry build me a Bulldog Tranny, and attach the LSD to it, then ship the entire "Package" to me and I just have some Joe Bob Tranny shop mate it to the engine and what not. If the tricky part is getting the LSD to attach to the Tranny, then this seems like the only viable solution...

What about the ShoShop? They sell them, do they install them? Originally posted by chezterr: ...im out here in CA...need to find someone in CA that can do the job... Bob

I wouldn't trust them with a 10 foot pole, next to Terry. Terry takes his time and does it right... May take longer, but it is done right the first time, not third time... His failure rate is next to nil on work. Me and Mark should start on your site soon Terry, drop us an email about that.

Yeah, SHO Shop will do an install. However, based on my experience with the parts I received from them (mostly OK but a few details overlooked),the stories about bad y-pipe bends, and the fact that they didn't actually do my work, I will neither recommend or advise against going to them, just say buyer beware.
The only reason I know my guy is OK (and would recommend them to anyone near Philly that doesn't want to ship a trans to Rockford, Michigan) is that he passed the "Terry, do these guys have a clue?" test. If I had to do it all over again, I would have just sent it to Terry and slept well at night.

Terry.. is that going to be a possiblity in the future? Have a bulldog trans with LSD shipped to the west coast?? or would shipping be insane?
thanks
