You don't like mustangs very much do you? I am intrested in why that is. I have followed some of your post for awhile now and seen some of your comments about mustangs. Just wondering?I don't have a problem with Mustangs as much as I do their "typical" owners. There are plenty of exceptions, as I'm sure many people would say the same about Vette owners. I do, however, have a problem when people keep trying to lump the Mustang in with the Corvette as a cars of comparable performance. Was I wrong about the factory hood scoop on the Mustang???

No, but yesterday I saw a car with lights on the crappy chrome wheels. Blue lights just on one spot, all four, spinning round and round. It was a maroon Infiniti J30 of the old style circa 92-93ish. You spin me round round baby round round like a record baby.... anyone remember that tune?

"...conservative 1960's ass thinking..." Not sure what that means, but I kind of like it for some reason. Unlike the person it was directed at...I am conservative and my ass is a 1960 vintage.

The funny thing is that the 1960s were hardly conservative...I mean, that's the decade of the hippie...

Let's see, in high school it was the sky-high trucks, El Caminos, and even some cars.
In the late 80s, early 90s, it was the neon-colored windshield wipers.
Then came the gold 8" wires with 175/70 rubber stretched over them, and spacing them out about a foot so you'd look like an "open wheel" car.
All of these were, in my humble opinion, stupid.
What's next?
I dunno. Maybe a return to the custom van days, only with early minivans as the starting point. That might actually be cool.

I don't think anyone should compare a 23,000 dollar mustang that has 50 less cubic inchs to a corvette that cost considerbly more. I think why this happens is sometimes is becuse ford doesn't have a market right now to diectly match the vette unless you consider roush or saleen. Oh and your right about the scoop thing. I think the next trend will be fourwheel drives. Chicks dig fourwheel drives. haha yeah maybe one of those rebel flags hangin outback off the rollbar oh yeah. :p

I have to give props to gwellington for this one... a classic in the making! Since we all know the benefits of cross-drilled rotors, and mostly now for aesthetic reasons, how about....
Cross-drilled drums!!! For the people that like to make their car showy, but can't afford 4-wheel disc, we now offer cadmium plated, cross-drilled drums. Not only do they dissapate heat better, but they don't let all that brake dust collect in the drum which, of course, common sense would say negatively impacts braking ability!

IMHO:most high schoolers do get ghetto ass cars at first, and if your a car guy then you have to put what you can afford on the car.But if your fortunate your parents spend their life savings on your car, then you get s*** b/c your parents are more well endowed than most.
BTW: I happen to be one of those that gets the POS as my first car.
