There are a few ways to get a returnless system to put out more fuel.
1. Bigger injectors
2. Bigger fuel pump
3. Additional fuel injector(s)-(7th injector with piggyback controller, Paxton)
4. Trick the PCM into thinking it needs to put out more fuel (mess with the MAF, IAT, or O2 sensors)
These mods might also be used in combination. That "restrictor" trick you are referring to only works on return systems. Nothing to restrict on returnless.
The manufacturer for this turbo kit has found a way to work
with the returnless fuel system on other cars. They feel they can get it to work on the Contour as well.
