The intercooler will be water/air because you will be hard pressed to find a way to plumb an air/air up front.

Stage 4&5 are just examples. There is a good chance that those items will just be options. The kit will be made to use stock exhaust manifold, uncut, and with the cats. Headers in the same shape as the manifolds will also work (i.e. MSDS).

One thing I can tell you, this turbo setup is not like most setups you might be familiar with. The turbo, piping, and intercooler is different.

As far as this being a "plug and play" application, I have a good feeling the tuning will be fairly simple. They have other kits for other vehicles that don't even require tuning to achieve optimal performance.

If anybody has reliability and longevity concerns, they have vehicles with their turbo kit on them that have gone over 100,000 miles with no problems.

Believe me, I want to give as much info as I can. However, the manufacturer is not equipped to handle 200 calls a day from people wanting to get a status on the Contour/Cougar turbo kit. smile

Thanks for your patience,

What about boost for my POS returnless fuel system?

I don't see why other people can't get forced induction to work with returnless systems when the new Miatas have the same shiznit and STILL can be turbocharged/supercharged.
I remember reading up on an install on a 2001(?) Miata and they added some sort of restrictor in the return line on the pump (it's all done in the tank), to boost fuel pressure. Jackson Supercharger were the guys doing it. Surely something similar could be done on the reutrnless Contours!
