Get a quote from Terry Haines, he's in your neck-o-the-woods, IIFC. Do a search.
I can't remember how close he is to you - some here I'm sure can let you know - but I'd give him a call and get a price from him.
Then you can determine if you'd be able to sell it for more with the repairs.
You have to deeply discount a broken car as the buyer faces many potential problems that don't always showup on broken units so they've got to allow for that as well.
