Hey all, I'm a new user on this forum here (with a newly acquired CSVT so I'll be staying for a while) but I wanted to post this to gather some interest on a little short notice. Here we go..
The Thunderbird and Cougar Club of America (TCCoA.com) is sponsoring the MN12Nationals this year at Rockingham/Southern Pines area. On Saturday, September 4th we have the Rockingham Drag Strip to ourselves from 8am to 5pm. What we are trying to do to make it more fun and get a huge response besides our cars is invite other Ford Vehicles to come out and race with us on that Saturday. (takes breath) It's $25 to race all day and $5 for spectators.
I know there are a lot of Raleigh area Contours/Mystiques and others from around the area (Virginia, South Carolina) and I believe there could be a big turn out of all sorts of Ford cars.

Anyway, I wanted to throw that out there and hope to gain some interest from you guys.

could be possible, but unless im not weary enough to let someone else drive one of my cars, i'll be in my tbird since it is a national thunderbird/cougar/mark8 event..

oh yeah, i need to get those o2 sensors and foglamp from you..

Was anyone interested in coming down to this? It's this Saturday from 9am to 5pm (or 10-6 i think i read something different today). $25 to race all day at The Rock.
