Wow 4SE, your post, including the adages and allusions to people on airplanes, has really confused me. I think I'm gonna do drink a bottle of water wetter and let you know how it does it MY system, but since you are more interested in the mechanics of the system, I may also take detailed pictures of the results.

I think some Glen Livet might act the same as Water Wetter. I'll give it a go and see if my temp decreases as well.

I don't believe so. I have performed similar tests nearly every weekend, often continueing these tests into the week. I have concluded that substances like that tend to increase temps.
