After i first read Evolution's post i was somewhat disgusted. Now heres a guy who says he would rather eat a bullet then see what the next trend will be. To me that is a little ignorant, maybe he doesnt know that if he eats a bullit he will die. Then I realized after reading his sig that this guy has a corvette. Now of course he is going to think that all of these trends are silly. Hes not in high school like me. He doesnt drive around 4 thousand dollar Hondas. I mean if your a car guy in high school you take what you can get. I mean im sure some things are silly or outrageous. But if you enjoy cars and you only have a part time job in high school, and you wanna modify your cars then you are gonna start with the sound and the aesthetic mods because it is much more affordable then say adding a turbo or a supercharger. If you take pride in your car you are gonna do what you can to make it look its best. What you hold dear to autostyling is nice and all but if you express an opinion you cant get mad when someone calls you ignorant for not knowing or understanding the full situation that "us" the younger generation is in.Wow...Well said, young pup...I'm quite past high school age, but I'm not rolling in dough...While my opinion is that aesthetic mods should be done to "smooth out" the appearance of a car, or at least have some practical function, I do agree that on a limited budget, there is only so much you can do...And for a young kid to either save $2000 for a go-go juice system or spend it in $20-50 increments on stuff to keep up with the "Jones'" civics,(i.e. big old sheets of aluminum siding on bolted onto the trunk, Maxwell House brand mufflers) I will bet on the latter 99% of the time.
