That first picture is taken on the 101 between the 75 ave exit and Union Hills. The rubberized asphalt (dark black in the picture) starts at Union Hills heading north. I'm not sure exactly where that wall in the picture starts, but it must be about Bell Rd. going north. I also lived in Flagstaff for about 2 years (and really miss that town).
