The cable itself, or the linkage? PM or email me. We'll talk...

Haven't seen you around the boards lately.. How's the Mustang running?
On a side note, can I ask what your best time was with your Contour? I believe it was you running a 13.6 with nitrous? Any details on your mods you were running at the time? Thanks

I know Mumm was running rod ends on his shifter cables in the touring cougar he raced. He was having problems with the stockers falling off in competition

I had that same thought.
The biggest issue then is getting them to fit in the small space provided or having to fabricate a new cable bracket. Room is tight so there is not much leeway.
Either that or just making up an entire set of custom cables and brackets. I bet that's what Mumm did. When mine broke is was the stock cable itself that pulled apart. (it starts by breaking a few strands and then eventually just fails outright) It was not the linkage or grommets that failed on mine.

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
