Antonio, I'm sorry, but you need to be more tolerant of people who happen to disagree with you. Evolution made an observant statement on the recent history of popular car modification, and you go out of your way to get offended by it.
Life is too serious to take everything that seriously.

I've also started to see NASCAR throwbacks with late 60's on up through early 80's cars being turned into NASCAR hero vehicle look-a-likes. Any old '68 Torino fastback or '79 Monte Carlo will do, small block or big block power and minimal interior work needed. There's a nice '82 or so Monte with number 11 D.Waltrip here in town that looks pretty nice... I'm also gonna go with Rally styles.

Since when did voicing a non-personal observation all of a sudden become so irritating on the boards? Ive seen responses like these every other post nowadays.
Yes, maybe his opinions don't agree with everyone elses...but lets not start WWIII over it.
I can see an undulation of LEDs all over cars as the next trend...

First it was stereos. Then it was neons. Then it was tunneling with 12" rims Then it was plastichrome wheel caps. Then it was actual rims with beyond-reasonable low-profile tires. Then neons on the inside of the car. (WHAT?!?!) Then it was the size of your exahust tip (regardless of your actual tail pipe size.) Now it seems to be wings.
I should just eat a bullet now before this new gen of "styling concepts" completely destroys all that I hold dear to auto styling.
What's the next stupid trend that we should expect? I'm thinking really big hood scoops that don't actually function (similiar to what Mustangs have now...heheheh...from the factory...HAHAHAHA...) Hmmm...what else would be completely bizarre but just stupid enough to catch on??? Maybe be like the crotch-rockets and start removing body panels rather than adding?? ("We can now get more cold air to our engines") Of course, the aerodynamics go out what used to the window...
Anyone else care to predict the ugly future? Maybe we can even get some Photochopping done to see the future today! THANK-YOU! THANK-YOU! Excellent point! What is next batch of pointless superficial crap that the future holds? What can we expect the insecure, gay ricers to blow their money on in an attempt to cover-up the fact that they have no balls? (by the way, I wasn't born in the 1960's - I was born in 1984!)

And what's wrong with being born in the 60's?
It's not age, it is experience.

I think those little LED washer nozzel lights are catching on pretty quickly. I see them on more and more cars every day.

Let's not forget racing stripes, fake hood & roof scoops, the single wiper treatment, roll cages, racing seats, and 4 or 5 point harnesses.
The big rims crack me up.. I was at the supermarket tonight, and a new Escalade rolled up on freaking huge 22s. The couple in front of me said "Look at those f*cking huge tires", and it wasn't meant as a compliment.
Unless you spend a good deal of time at the track, there's no need for racing seats, harnesses, and especially a roll cage. Kind of like the moron in town driving around with a racing helmet on, wtf is he trying to prove?

TB, it's just that the people mentioning these type of topics (complaints about stupid stuff the 'next generation' does) often are not in the teenage years themselves. Stereotype, yes, but still... I'm gonna say body kits (especially those HUGE front bumpers).
