It looks like I'm going to be making another road trip out east. This time only to Coatesville PA. Mapquest says to take I-80 east til it becomes I-76, but on the map they show I-75 ??? is it I-75 or I-76 ????From there it says to take I-283 to I-30 into Coatesville. Does this sound right or shall I take another route? Also how bad is the construction in those areas if anyone knows? I'm still debating when to leave, I'd much rather drive at night but I'll be living on Red Bull to do that. They say around 13 hours for the trip which I should be able to do in about 12 maybe Any and all info is greatly appreciated folks

I-76. Just watch your signs as get closer to PA as I-80 will turn into I-76. But, I-80 also continues into PA and that's not they way you want to go. From there your directions are correct, I-283 to I-30.
Check your map around the Youngstown area and you should see what I mean about I-80.

Sorry, I don't know of any construction. How long are you planning on being out this way? Maybe we could set up a meet.

Your best bet is to stay on the turnpike till you get to the Downingtown exit (not sure of the new exit # but the old one is 23) and take 100 south to 30 west and Coatesville is right there unless you want to go though Amish country and get stuck behind i horse and buggy.

Ok I found Downingtown and i saw 100 but not sure wher that is. it looks like I'd be back tracking going that way? And when you say stay on the turnpike what number I-80? mapquest has a pretty poor map. As you zoom in it seens like the make names ans road numbers disappear I'm not tooo concerned about the Amish I doubt they'll be buggin down the road at the wee hours of the morning I can run them over like we do up North

My Brother-In-Law told me that they are doing some heavy construction on Route 80 in and around the Bloomsburg area. Shortly after Bloomsburg is where you'd hit the Pa Turnpike and if IIRC, they are doing construction on the Turnpike also.
I'll go to AAA tomorrow morning and ask them the best route for you and if there is any construction on the route. Where are you in WI?

LUCA I live very close to Milwaukee in Waukesha WI zip code 53149. I'm going to take back roads in WI to miss the traffic then I'll be taking the normal route I think. I'll probably stick to the I-80 to I-76 to 30 and hope I get to harass the Amish J/K If 30 is kinda back road like i'd rather take that route. The interstate gets kinda Borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring after a few 100miles thanks for the info I appreciate it

I'll check with AAA on the construction issue (hopefully they'll know) and I'll post the info tomorrow.
