I can send pics, but I don't want to remove the intake tube, resonator, etc. Is that ok? I mean, would you be able to tell any thing from it? I guess I could remove them, though I'd preffer to avoid it. smile

EDIT: If I send pics do I get a discount when it's done!?!? wink laugh

I'm just messing with you. I don't expect a handout, you're doing enough for us zetec's in the first place! smile

LOL, you don't need to take it apart, please take pics of the areas of concern, which are the IAT and the rear side of the valve cover.

Got your email, thank you. Is there a chance you could unscrew or take out the IAT so that I can get a good look at the design?

That seems to be the sore spot at the moment. I'm thinking also about the valve cover breather issue. May have to run a tube over to the intake port.

Sure! Um, what is the IAT? shocked I would assume that it means Intermediate Air Filter (but we all know what assuming does, don't we). It that is what it is, where is it?

IAT = Intake Air Sensor

It's the the pair of wires going to the underside of the intake tube between the MAF and the centre resonator.

Gotcha. I'll try to get those pics tomorrow. Apparently "T" was looking a lot like "F" when I thought it stood for filter! smile

Thanks again, Kendall. Looks like a threaded fitting will be necessary at an additional cost or I am thinking that a newer push-in style IAT may be able to be used instead as a retrofit. We could include these, if it will work, at an additional cost to the kit.
